The the employees can be discouraged with coming up

The second disadvantage of the Bureaucatic
structure is that it does not consider the relationships of the employees. An
example of this would-be Nick, as since he is new, the employees have not
associated with him in anyway possible. Citation 2 “the structure is one which
approaches the complete elimination of personalized relationship and of
non-rational considerations” Nicks performance would be affected by the
Bureaucratic structure since he feels unmotivated and unwanted due to the
employees not socializing with him

The Second advantage of the Bureaucratic
structure is that its employees have
clear objectives within the business. Citation 1: “Bureaucracy involves a clear
cut division of integrated activities”  .An
example of this would be the BFGym have a management consisting of former
trainers which decide the schedule of classes and sessions to be taught. Since
the BFGym employees have been set clear goals they will know what to achieve
during the day. This also allows the BFGym to reduce the time of coming up with
the organizational strategy decisions

However the main disadvantage with this is that
the Bureaucratic structure used in BFGym is that the employees can be
discouraged with coming up with creative and innovative ideas. An example of
this would be the instructor Philip who is reported to be ‘very bored’ and ‘un
inspired’ as he’s been teaching the same class for the past year. Since
employees are not involved with the organizational strategy decision they will
be forced to do sessions which are more focused on keeping the customer happy
and not the employee, this will increase the employee’s turnover rate as the
employees motivation is decreasing due to the employee not being allowed to
come up with creative and innovative ideas.

The First advantage of using a bureaucratic
structure in BFGym is that the Top-level managers can use a great deal of control
over the organizational strategy decisions that BFGym have implemented. For example,
the BFGym have a management consisting of former trainers which decide the
schedule of classes and sessions to be taught. This allows the gym to be run in a efficient way as
well as having sessions which are more popular then the sessions which aren’t
as popular, this will allow the business to save money while satisfying
customers.

BFGym employs a bureaucratic structure within
the gym. A bureaucratic structure has six principles. BFGym have implemented
all of the six principles into the business.
