Boys face much pressure than girls to be moreinvolved in the community and look better. The society have a certain image orperspective of how boys should look, they are stereotyped by the society andthe media to lift weight and wear tight clothes, workout and have a muscularbody. They also need to be fashionable so they can be in the standards of thesociety, which includes being tough and muscular and have to have some certainfeatures such as muscular hand or chiseled jawline with deep voice.

“Pediatricians are starting to sound alarm bells about boys who take unhealthymeasures to try to achieve Charles Atlas bodies that only genetics can trulyconfer” (Gonchar). Boys are taking this body issues seriously, they are usingmost of their time working-out without knowing the consequences of that. Theyare using different materials that are impacting their body negatively causingthem to have problems.

There are thousands of people who are using materialssuch as steroids to have a muscular body.Figure 1The use of steroids has caused many problems but stillknowing that boys are using it because they are under pressure by the societyand to get what they want. Things that you can’t get when you are overweight(fat), they are attempting to get by having a muscular body. Steroids aremainly used by bodybuilder but these day it is also used by teenager to getgirls and look good in the society. The use of steroids by teens would cause ahuge problem in the society, there would be many people who would be inspiredby the one teenager using steroids.

The one teenager would bring more peoplefrom the society, then they would be using the steroids which would cause theproblem through the whole society. The use of steroids by young men causesproblems in the future for themselves, as it has lots of side effects. “Thefollowing side effects might occur: Infection, Allergic reactions, Bleedinginto the joint, Rupture of a tendon, Skin discoloration, Weakening of bone, ligaments, and tendons (from frequent, repeated injections into the same area)”(Steroids). Men are relied upon to look masculine, polite, have expansiveshoulders, have six packs, have facial hair (and on the off chance that theydon’t then they need to not look ladylike) thus significantly more.Men are relied upon to complete a considerable measureand not grumble about it on the grounds that generally they had more power, along these lines they aren’t permitted to whine about others desires. Men areexpected to let the ladies go first when it comes to standing in a line and letladies sit in an empty seat in a bus, just because they are men and that theyare stronger compared to ladies. When it comes to fighting, if a girl getspunched or dropped, she is not judged if she starts crying. However, in thesame situation, if it was a young man, he is expected to toughen up and fightback no matter what happens.

This is just because they are men and that theyneed to be tough.Everybody is under a considerable measure of strain tolook great, however young men have it more awful keeping in mind the end goalto satisfy social orders norms men must be tall, muscular, strong and wearcertain sorts of garments to fit in and look alluring to society. Anothermotivation behind why folks have it similarly as hard is on the grounds thatladies can wear cosmetics to make their faces look more appealing, where asthough you’re a person and you’re appalling, you cannot make a move.Additionally, with regards to dating folks have it harder on the grounds thatit is essentially an opposition where we must be superior to alternate guy’skeeping in mind the end goal to pull in young ladies while showing an abnormalstate of certainty/power and demonstrating no dread.

Girls also have to face the same pressure that boysface to maintain the body to be appealing and fit in the society. The pressurethat they face comes from everywhere. There is pressure for young men to look aspecific way. Be that as it may, young men (and young ladies) are additionallytolerating of young men who miss the mark to these measures. The weight is morenoteworthy in the gay group however and still, at the end of the day there aresub-groups for the individuals who don’t fit the principles, for example, bearsand chubbies.

Each individual will go to various lengths to look great, at theend of the day young ladies are under marginally more strain to look great thanmen. Men have more varieties with regards to alluring body compose and less makeupare coordinated at men. At last this is an extremely subjective inquiry, soothers will most likely have an alternate sentiment.

Society anticipates that ladies will be thin, consummate skin, have huge bosoms, and a substantial butt. In any case, why isthis picture an “impeccable” self-perception, and for what reasondoes society weight females to gain this picture? Self-perception is animperative way that individuals see others and themselves. More often than not,our assessments of our own bodies are negative, and that we don’t live up tosociety’s desires. Boys are not the only ones facing this pressure which iscreating problems. For a long time, young ladies have been the searchers ofgood examples to turn upward to in character and conduct as well as chiefly inthe way they look. There is excessively weight on young ladies to have theideal body in light of the fact that photoshopping twists a young lady’s brainand changes the way they see perfect self-perception as. Outrageous media andcompanion weight can’t just prompt anorexia and bulimia nervosa.Women have the ability to go out and still have theirdesired look, of course, it is not all natural.

They can put on makeup and looklike models presented in the magazine. However, men cannot get their desiredphysical appearance with makeups, as it requires heavy weight lifting thatcannot be done in short time. Everything is natural for men but women havemakeup products to make them look good. This disadvantage causes men to utilizeunnatural products such as steroids to look natural and muscular. This does notonly allow them to go out in the public with self-confidence but it also givesthem a sense of power, which allows them to express their feelings towardsgirls. Another thing that men use to gain muscle are protein shakes, andvitamin. However, these products are more natural compared to steroids, whichhave more side effects than protein shakes and vitamins.Figure 2These days proficient picture takers jump at thechance to influence big names and models to appear as though they have noimperfections when in actuality they do, nearly to the fact of the matter whereit is unspeakably great.

Young ladies depend on mold magazines as their mainsource to peruse and see when they require form motivation, in any case, thereis likewise a huge gathering of lady and high schooler young ladies who seethese bogus pictures of open figures as the general population who achieveachievement just by being slim.  There isno perfect weight or size and young ladies so youthful shouldn’t stress oversuch a minor thing so right on time throughout everyday life and extraordinaryeating less carbs. These issues are prompting sorrow andself-uncertainty, certainty is blurring as is bliss in all young ladies’ anorexiais glamorized and young ladies are erroneously marked. In the present agenobody can genuinely believe the way somebody looks. So much is done to asolitary picture or video of stars, digitally embellish impacts are done beforea photograph shoot session or taping and huge amounts of altering for that lookof flawlessness. Its demonstrated that the greater part of the movies have somekind of after creation changing done.

There is no denying that there is an excessive amountof weight put on high school young ladies, and it needs to change. Since we,actually, are society, we can transform it. It begins with tolerating others, regardless of the shape and size. We have to lose the judgmental and meanstates of mind, and increase strong and empowering ones. The change may not beimmediately, but rather continuously we can vanquish the savage pressure set onyoung ladies.

This pressure which is set on young ladies or women have changedmany women.            “Girlsare constantly lowering their self-esteem by saying that they are not as prettyas they girls in the magazines” (Gozalez). The magazines bring the world whatis ideal, which is the new way of being considered normal.

Girls have to liveup to the image that is presented in the magazines and prove themselves to thesociety to be considered normal. They constantly face pressure from their peerswho have what is considered an ideal or normal body. It is not just themagazines that expects women to have an ideal body, but what is beingbroadcasted in the television by celebrities is what pulls the trigger, whichtells the women what a “perfect” body is.

Moreover, the expectations for men isalso broadcasted in the television and in the magazines, which also tells youngmen, what they need to look like to attract women.Figure 3            One another factor that determinesif a person has a perfect body or not is by the way they dress and how they fitin their dress. It works differently for men compared to women. If a woman iswearing tight clothes, she needs to fit in it and that her stomach does notstand out to others, meaning they would need to have a slim stomach. Her legsare smaller and her butt are bigger.

Her face does not have any acne orpimples, if they do, they need to be covered by makeup, which is not seen. These things are the traits that is expected to from women to be consideredperfect in the society. Men on the other side also deal with similar factorthat determines if they have a perfect body or not. If men wear tight clotheshe needs to be muscular, big strong legs. They cannot have a big stomach or be tooskinny.

The perfect body image is created by the society and the media. Thedress they advertise are size, they have to be that size to fit. Medias beenusing pictures of celebrities who seem to have a perfect body and society isinfluenced by it. These are the things that is expected by the society.             There would not be any normality orperfect body if it was not for media. It is clear that even before mediaexcited women were looked down on and were expected to cook at the house andtake care of the house. On the other side men were expected to do the heavyworking to help the family financially. They were expected to be tough andbrave.

However, there did not exist a perfect body, which said women needed tohave a slim body to be considered normal and that men needed to have muscularbody to be considered normal. There did not exist any judgement from thesociety regarding physical appearances.                    Boys are under much pressure to havea perfect body than girls. Throughout the essay, it is compared how societyviews perfect body between men and women. There is yet to say which group dealswith the pressure of having a perfect body from the society more compared tothe other group.

Even though women deal with the pressure of having an idealbody, it is less than what men have deal with. This is because men have alwaysbeen depicted as stronger, braver, and muscular. They are expected to respectthe ladies and be the gentlemen, which prevents them from whining and crying.Men have to live up to these expectations that the society have set since thebeginning. On the other side, the depiction of women has changed over time.

Itis only recently that things like media, and makeups came in the society. Therefore, it is tough for men to not have the traits and characteristics thatthe society expects them to have, which tells that men have to deal with morepressure of having a perfect body compared to women.
