Many people’s ambitions and aspirations are to travel the world and gain a new perspective on the universe around us. For me I’m definitely on this list ever since I was younger I was always interested and curious about what’s beyond us, I want to explore.
As I grew I never wanted to be in an office job or do something that restricted my opportunities and my abilities. I set my goal and focused on doing something great with my life. Throughout high school I decided to get into photography I started to capture special moments of my life. I got really into taking pictures of my friends and going out to different locations. While in photography and photography club I learned how to edit photos and the fundamental rules of photography. Throughout the year photography, sparked my interest I researched jobs and ever since I knew I wanted to spend my future career taking photos. I started to stay after school, work with my friends and start to enhance my photo taking, used different background and practiced my editing. To be able to achieve my wildest dreams and become a photojournalist and travel around the world make a career out of it, I will do anything in my ability to work for my dream career.
Photojournalism the creativity of photography to tell a story visually of my adventures and perspective on my intake of life. I have an eye for detail I look at everything a bit different than most people, the ability to capture every evanescent moment and communicate the essence of it to the world is equally thrilling.ould be cool to share my side of things and my journey. Every travel destination has its own look, culture, history, people, feelings, landscapes, and stories. Learning how to capture these subjects through photos can help convey the soul of a place to others, giving them a glimpse of what it might be like to venture there.
SCAD is definitely can be the start of my journey. I’ve been wanting to apply to SCAD since freshman year, I feel this is one of the only colleges I can express my creativity and my goals and end up somewhere I can be proud of. In SCAD there are a lot of new people I can meet. There is going to be a lot of people who I can express the same passions with and a lot of people I can grow and discover with. I’m prepared to do anything to succeed. It’s not an easy task and can take time and it’s a competitive field but my dreams are possible with SCAD. The environment and community looks inviting and optimistic.
The scattered buildings around also, the historic downtown of Savannah intrigues me. The opportunities available to me and others are nothing but amazing.
