Based on his mediaprofile he appears to be one of the youngest appointed ministers of cabinet inSouth Sudan. The media suggest that his appointment is due to his mother’spolitical connection. Mr. De Maboir wasreportedly admitted to a hospital due to a drug overdose. According to openmedia, During October 2012 rumours surfaced that alleged that Mr Maboir joined the rebel leader, David Yauyau, who is based in his home state ofJonglei and battling the government’s forces.
